This new brand of iPhones might have a small 4.7-inch screen, a little larger than the original 4-inch iPhone SE, which was modeled, after the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone to come with a 4.7-inch screen, although, it was, also, reported that, the new iPhone, will be patterned, in line with the iPhone 8.

In order to keep the costs down, the iPhone SE 2 is, expected to have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, rather than the Face ID biometric unlock system, used on the iPhone 11 range.

The smartphone will use the same A13 Bionic processor, as the iPhone 11, although, ensuring that, it will have many performance features, but it will, also, certainly use the latest iOS 13 software.

As of now, it remains unclear, whether Apple will call the new smartphone the iPhone SE 2, or, coin out a new name for the low-cost device.

The price is, also, a mystery, until it is, officially, launched, or, leaked, but if it is to be, truly, affordable, then, it must cost, less than the $450 iPhone 8.

The original iPhone SE, costs $400, which may, also, be the target, set for the new version too.

Producing an affordable iPhone, will assist the company to sell 200 million iPhone models, in 2020 and help increase sales, in regions, such as India, where the market is dominated, by cheap Android phones.

If, eventually, this iPhone sees the light of the day and does go into production next month, there is no guaranty that, it will be, officially, announced in March 2020, because, over the years, Apple has revealed plans, to launch numerous products, many of which failed to see the light of day.

All we can do now is, just to fold our arms and watch how this unfolds.
