Dr. Henry Nkemadu, has been appointed as the new Director Public Affairs, by the Management of the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC). He replaces Nnamdi Nwokike, who retired in March this year, as Director Public Affairs, NCC.
Nkemnadu, is a graduate of veterinary medicine from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Nkemadu has traversed the length and breadth of NCC, acquiring experiences that qualify him for his new role as the DPA.
He was a former Controller of the Lagos Zonal Office, NCC’s largest Zonal Operation.
Nkemadu has worked in the Departments of Economic Analysis and Corporate Planning, (EACP); Policy, Competition and Economic Analysis, (PCEA); Research and Development (R&D); and Projects.
He recently became a full Director at the Commission and until his appointment as the new Director of Public Affairs, was the Head, Special Intervention Projects, at the Projects Department of the Commission.
It is expected that, Nkemadu will bring his varied wealth of experience to bear, on the Public Affairs Department of NCC, to continue to project the good image of the Commission to the outside world, as well as, propel the apex regulator forward, in all his actions.
