For some weeks back, at the Lagos Founder Institute sessions, Founders were introduced, to classes on the concept of revenue and it’s model, unique selling points, sweat equity, as well as, branding and design.
During that same period founder engaged in a 60-second pre-pitch session, with some of the FI mentors.
In its sixth week running, Founder Institute, Lagos chapter, this past Friday, July 26, 2019, at the premises of GoDoHub at 53, Oladipo Bateye Street, GRA, Ikeja, saw the Founders demonstrating the viability of their start-ups, in a no-holds-bar, 3 minutes pitch session, before panelists, consisting of FI mentors.
The Founders were divided into three groups, which saw the pitch sessions, run concurrently.
The panelists in group one included; Tomi Davies, Collaborator-In-Chief, Technovision; Atul Kshetry, CEO, IDM Services Plc; Adebola Adeyemi, Partner, PAC Solicitors; David Adedayo,
In group two, the panelists were; Peter Adewale, Partner, Founder/COO, Digital Encode, Shehu Umar, Director, Wattlinq; Gordy Oshoko and CEO, Treadgold.
The third group; Olamide Owolabi, Co-Founder, Sanwo Touch2Pay Tech Service; Kelechi Nwosu, MD, TBWA/ CONCEPT; Simeon Ononubi, Co-Founder, Thank U Cash and Deepanker Rustagi, Founder, VConnect.
As a requirement to remain in the program, some Founders, who did not meet up to the expected score, during the pitch session some founders got dropped from the cohort, however, they were advised to re-enroll for the next cohort that will be starting very soon.
