Seven new cases have been confirmed by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as of Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
The cases were announced on NCDC’s Twitter handle, with five cases yesterday by some minutes past the eleventh hour, while the other two announced this early morning, Thursday, March 26, 2020.
The five new cases of COVID-19: Federal Capital Territory (2), Lagos (1) and Rivers (1). Three of them are travelers that had just returned while the other two have had contacts with confirmed cases.
According to NCDC, Nigeria now has 51 verified cases with two discharged and one death.
Among the seven cases of COVID-19; Lagos (3), FCT (2), Rivers (1) and Osun (1).
As of Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the confirmed cases are 41
