The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed four new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
Lagos is with three of the cases, while FCT Abuja has one.
The NCDC confirmed this on its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov as at 11 p.m on Monday, March 23, 2020.
The tweet also confirmed that two of these recent cases are returnees from overseas.
This recent development has now brought the total number of reported COVID-19 cases to 40 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged and one lost his life just recently.
Currently, Lagos (28), FCT (7), Ogun (2), Ekiti, Oyo and Edo have one case each.
