A few weeks ago, we reported that Apple is tinkering with the idea of launching a budget-friendly iPhone during its spring event sometimes in March and now, this rumor seems to be slowly becoming something that might just happen.

According to a report culled from a source (backed by German technology website iPhone-ticker) in contact with Apple, the company may announce its new products which include the low budget iPhone 9 and some other hardware in its spring event on March 31.

Alongside the iPhone 9, the Apple iPad Pro, the latest charging wireless pad and also the rollout of iOS13.4 might also be announced on that day.

The report also stated that Apple the likeliest day that the spring event may hold is on Tuesday, March 31 and on Friday, April 3, 2020, the all-new products will be going on sales.

Over the years, Apple has postponed the spring event due to one reason or the other but according to the report generated from the source, it is most likely that we might actually see the spring event this year and set to debut will be the low budget iPhone 9.

The news that the iPhone 9 may debut this year has gathering steam for quite some time and Twitter enthusiast Evan Blass was among the first individuals to tweet about the smartphone and he also tweeted that it might be released in March.

Another Analyst who goes by the name Ming-Chi Kuo has also speculated that a refreshed iPad Pro models and a wireless charging mat may also be announced on the said date.

It has also been said that the iPhone 9 has a close semblance to the iPhone 8 but with upgraded internals and the iPhone 9 also comes with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 9.

It has been purported to be loaded with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD Retina display and it may actually draw power from the in-house A13 Bionic processor.
