Tech enthusiasts have taken technology further, through Artificial intelligence.

Recently, the trends, seem to be changing, as movie producers have found a way, to incorporate Artificial Intelligence, (AI), to the production of movies, in order to create a futuristic and more realistic picture.

The movie industries across the world, especially, in the US, (Hollywood), have been able to utilize, effectively, AI to produce great SCI-FI movies that have revolutionized the industry, which led to high sales of movies.

This movie is perhaps, one of the best SCI-FI collections, as it shows how AI can evolve, into omnipotence, if given the right tools.

The movie, Transcendence, was released in 2014 and it was directed by cinematographer, Wally Pfister, in his directorial debut and written by Jack Paglen.

The lead actor was Johnny Deep.

Transcendence is, about a dying computer genius, who uploaded himself, in computerized form and achieved, in an omnipotence status.

His conscious mind was uploaded, into the internet and he was able to see everything and hack any system, including banks.

The potentials of AI were greatly emphasized, in this movie, but the bottom line is, the functionality of AI, rests on how it is being used by humans.

The Matrix

This movie, will also, be ranked, as one of the top AI-assisted SCI-FI production, ever.

The Matrix is a 1999 SCI-FI written and directed by the Wachowskis brothers. It starred Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The movie shows, just how powerful machines can get and how humans, can become the fuel, to power machines.

The machine created an AI-assisted algorithm that gives humans, an illusion of being alive, when in fact, they are in a sleeping state.

To ensure the illusion is under control, the machine created an avatar of itself, known as Agents and heading this group is, Agent Smith.

Chappie is a 2015 SCI-FI action film, directed by Neill Blomkamp and written by Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell.

The movie gave us a picture, of what the future will look like, in terms of the relationship between humans and robots.

Humans created a mechanized police force that made decisions, based on factual evidence, patrols the street and deals with lawbreakers.

One police droid is, stolen by Deon Wilson, (Dev Patel) and given new programming.
It was named Chappie and it acquires the ability, to feel and think for itself.

In the end, Deon finds a way to upload his conscious mind, just as his physical body was dying, into an android robot.

Ghost In The Shell

This movie was released in 2017 and it was directed by Rupert Sanders, written by Jamie Moss, William Wheeler, and Ehren Kruger.

It was based on the Japanese manga (comic), Masamune Shirow.

The movie is about a cyber-enhanced perfect soldier, devoted to stopping the world’s most dangerous criminals.

The movie showed the boundless power of AI and how technology has taken over every aspect of human life.

The movie, directed by Steven Spielberg, was set in a futuristic post-climate change society.

A robotic boy, programmed to love, is adopted, as a test case for a couple.

Though he gradually became their child, after nearly drowning the couple’s real child in a swimming pool, the couple decided to return the robot boy, to the company that created him.

AI was greatly used, explored and maximised in this Sci-fi movie.
